Thank You, My Teacher

I long to speak the deeped words I have to say to you

But I dare not, for fear you should laugh

Thank you, my teacher, for being there

At times when skies were gray, for lending an ear

When I had things to say

This spring days come again time after time

The full moon takes leave and comes on another visit

The flower come again and blush upon their branches year after year

They can hear my appreciation for you

Thank you, my teacher.

I would have felt isolated and lonely

If you had not been there

You are the evening cloud floating in the sky of my dreams

I paint you and fashion you ever with my love longings

And, thank you, my teacher
